The Graduate Business School and the Faculty of Business Administration of Paris La Sorbonne University jointly organize the 8th Governance International Conference, in Florence, Italy, on June 18-19, 2009.

Previously held in Montreal, Mons, Strasbourg, Geneva and Bordeaux, this event has been providing a forum for scholars interested in corporate governance since 2002.

Because corporate governance is at the crossroads of several disciplines (management, finance, law, and economics,...), it provides opportunities for high quality research papers. Papers that utilize any of a broad range of research methodologies and analytical frameworks will be considered.

Full papers, in French or English, should be submitted before February 16, 2009, by e-mail to cige2009@univ-paris1.fr (word and pdf format accepeted).

Submissions will be anonymously reviewed by two members of the scientific committee. Authors will be notified of the committee’s decision by April 15, 2009. Final acceptance of the paper will be subject to registration before May 15, 2009 and presentation of the paper by at least one of the authors.
